MORGAN PESZKO was born in Norfolk, Virginia, into a Navy family, relocating across more than five states before settling in San Diego, California. He began inline skating at just ten years old and turned professional at sixteen, competing in the 1998 ASA World Street Championships in Las Vegas. After years of touring, performing, competing, and even earning a Fleer pro trading card, injuries led to an early retirement in 2001 while filming his final skate video segment in Los Angeles.

Using his last earnings from skating, Morgan purchased his first camera and began directing music videos for local LA-based hip-hop artists. With no formal film education, he spent over a decade working independently as a cinematographer and editor throughout Hollywood on productions ranging from MTV to National Geographic, learning every role on set.

“I learned by making many mistakes. Because I wasn’t taught in a school—and this was before all the answers were online—I just got out there. I wasn’t afraid of what I didn’t know. That openness to experimentation has kept my work dynamic and exciting.”

Twenty years after buying that first camera, and having honed his craft across hundreds of productions, Morgan founded Scene 7 Films—a full-service production company creating everything from commercials to documentaries. What began as a one-man vision has evolved into an international operation with crews composed of some of the most talented and genuine people he’s met along the way.

Today, Scene 7 Films produces video and film content for some of the world’s leading brands.
